See daylight if you can, drink something, and move for two minutes. Everything else is optional garnish: journaling, cold plunges, and a lemon water personality.
- Clothes and bag by the door
- Breakfast decided
- Phone charging outside arm’s reach if you can
Prepare the night before
Mornings fail in the evening, when decisions are tired.
Screens can wait ten minutes
The news will still be terrible after you stretch. If you must check messages, stand up first. You are allowed a slow start without calling it mindfulness.
If mornings are wrecked by untreated insomnia or depression, treat those. No routine outruns them.
